A4 medical thermal printer – black and white imaging for ultrasound and radiology
The SONY UP-971AD hybrid printer is an A4 medical thermal printer designed for fast, high-quality printing of ultrasound and radiological images. With support for both analog and digital inputs, it is compatible with a wide range of medical imaging systems.
Its compact design makes it ideal for installation on medical carts. Front-access contrast and brightness controls, combined with a backlit LCD panel, ensure intuitive operation.
Several print modes are available and can be selected directly from the front panel. Switching from standard mode to multi-image printing is easily done using the dedicated “Multi” button.
The multi-image mode, available when connected via analog video, allows 2, 4 or 6 images to be printed on a single A4 sheet. A panoramic printing mode is also available, enabling extra-wide prints of up to 600 mm in length.
The direct thermal printing technology delivers high-quality black and white prints with a resolution of 325 dpi and a speed of up to 8 images per second in standard mode.
