SONY UP-DR80MD A4 Color Digital Printer

The SONY UP-DR80MD color digital printer is designed for medical applications requiring high-quality A4 color printing. Using Sony dye-sublimation printing technology, it delivers photo-quality images suitable for endoscopy, ultrasound and medical imaging.

Each print is protected by Sony’s lamination technology, providing resistance to light, heat, humidity, water and fingerprints. This ensures long-term image preservation, making the printer ideal for medical archiving.

The UP-DR80MD features dedicated Look-Up Tables (LUT) optimized for different applications. The Natural mode is suited for endoscopic images based on the sRGB color space, while the CG mode delivers more vivid colors for ultrasound imaging. A gray balance adjustment function is also available via the printer driver.

Its compact footprint and front-loading design allow easy installation on medical carts and in limited spaces. The printer supports A4 and Letter formats and prints an A4 image in approximately 76 seconds.

With the optional UPA-WU10 wireless printing system, the UP-DR80MD can be connected wirelessly to compatible medical imaging devices, improving workflow flexibility in clinical environments.
