A4 medical thermal printer – black and white, analog and digital inputs
The SONY UP-991AD hybrid printer is an A4 medical thermal printer designed for fast, high-quality printing of radiological and ultrasound images. Its compatibility with both analog and digital inputs allows seamless integration with a wide range of medical imaging systems.
Thanks to its compact design, the printer fits easily into clinical and operating room environments, including medical carts. Front-panel controls and a backlit LCD display ensure intuitive operation and quick access to settings.
The UP-991AD enhances workflow flexibility by allowing a USB storage device to be connected for direct saving of captured images, in black and white or colour. It supports printing on blue-tinted transparent film as well as thermal paper.
Multiple print modes are available, including landscape orientation, multi-image printing and panoramic printing. The system features automatic media type detection and automatic cutting at the end of printing, improving efficiency.
The printer delivers photographic-quality output with a resolution of 325 dpi and a printing time of approximately 8 seconds in standard mode.
