Dr. Arabin Ring Pessary – Uterine Prolapse Stage 1 and 2

The Dr. Arabin ring pessary is a medical device made of high-quality silicone. It is intended for patients with mild forms of genital prolapse and certain cases of urinary incontinence, provided that the pelvic floor is strong enough to retain the device.

Thanks to its elasticity, the ring pessary can be easily inserted and removed by the patient herself, after appropriate training by a healthcare professional. All models are adjusted by compression testing to ensure similar handling regardless of the size.

The pessary is designed for single-patient use and must not be used by other patients. It can be cleaned under running water without the use of disinfectants.

Indication / Intended use

The ring pessary is indicated for patients with mild genital prolapse and incontinence. The pelvic floor must be sufficiently strong to maintain the pessary in position.

The maximum uninterrupted application period is 30 days (medical device Class IIa). It is recommended that the patient removes the pessary in the evening and reinserts it in the morning, after being instructed by a healthcare professional.

Storage conditions

The pessary can be stored at temperatures between 0 and 50 °C, protected from UV radiation and without contact with reactive media, gas, ozone or mineral oil.
