HeadFix: Positioning pad for CT Scan

The CT HeadFix offers an integrated, fast and hygienic positioning solution for the fixation of the head during CT scans and is compatible with the head holders of major manufacturers.

Additional applications:

•  CT HeadFix works very well in PET/CT environment as well

•  CT HeadFix can be used for foot/ankle in head cradle as well

•  CT HeadFix can also be used for hand/wrist (fold/wrap around hand and use a strap to hold it together)

Cleaning & desinfecting:

•  Use disinfectant wipes, do not spray disinfectant on product directly

•  Any commonly used disinfectant for surface and wipe disinfection can be used

Application tipps:

•  Release air completly after usage: (start deflating when patient is still in cradle; fold CT HeadFix and release air by pushing valve as well as positioning aid)

•  People tend to keep inflating CT HeadFix, even though patient is already stabilized

•  Watch the ears when patient is positioned in CT HeadFix (kinking)
