Fitguard Alpha X-ray protective glasses

The Fitguard Alpha X-ray protective glasses are designed to effectively protect the eyes of healthcare professionals exposed to ionising radiation during fluoroscopy-guided procedures. They provide a lead equivalent of 0.75 mm Pb at the front and 0.50 mm Pb at the sides, covering the main areas of ocular exposure.

Designed without optical correction, these glasses can also be used as overglasses, making them suitable for users wearing prescription eyewear. Their wraparound frame ensures good stability while maintaining comfortable wear during extended use.

As personal protective equipment (PPE), Fitguard Alpha glasses are intended for personnel present in examination rooms or operating theatres during medical procedures involving X-rays. Their use is recommended to reduce eye exposure to scattered radiation.
