Krystal polyurethane probe covers with integrated adhesive gel are designed to provide long-lasting and effective protection for superficial ultrasound probes during ultrasound-guided procedures. They help limit exposure of the probe to bodily contaminants and facilitate cleaning and disinfection of the equipment after use.

The integrated sterile adhesive gel at the tip of the cover allows precise positioning on the probe without the need to apply gel inside the cover. This design improves probe contact while simplifying exam preparation.

The covers are supplied as ready-to-use sterile kits, including all accessories required for the procedure, ensuring optimal comfort for medical staff and compliance with aseptic protocols.

Choosing the appropriate length

Covers shorter than 60 cm are suitable for short outpatient procedures such as injections, infiltrations and vascular access. Covers measuring 60 to 125 cm are recommended for biopsy and anesthesia procedures. Covers longer than 125 cm are intended for use in operating rooms.

The use of a probe cover does not replace proper disinfection in accordance with current good practice guidelines.
